Global Outreach

“Sing to the LORD, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.” —Psalm 96:2-3

Throughout the year, the body of Christ at Cornerstone Chapel has the privilege of proclaiming Jesus and declaring His glory among the nations. We partner with missionaries doing incredible Kingdom work. We send short-term mission teams to be a blessing. We provide opportunities to pray for the nations, encourage the church, and reach the lost, all for His glory!

We invite you to join us in sharing the love and hope of Jesus to “the ends of the earth”. Below are a few of the ways you can get involved through Cornerstone this year.

Organizations We Support

Faith and Liberty
Located directly across from the U.S. Supreme Court, a block from the U.S. Capitol, and 10 minutes from the White House, Faith and Liberty is America’s only Christian outreach to top-level government officials in Washington, DC. Their purpose is to affect the hearts and minds of America’s public policy makers with Christ’s mandate in the two Greatest Commandments: Love the Lord Your God with All Your Heart, Soul, Strength, and Mind, and Love Your Neighbor as Yourself. Faith and Liberty accomplishes its mission through building personal relationships with individuals serving in government, engaging in private and public conversation and debate, distributing Scripture and informative materials, and staging special events such as panel discussions, symposia, news conferences, seminars, and prayer, worship, and preaching services.

The activities of Kondanani began in 1998 with the main focus being on orphaned children and their needs. They house, feed, clothe, and educate 160 children (ages 3 to 19) that are living in various homes on the 50-acre property. They also have schools, a clinic, a pig farm, a cheese factory and are renovating a baby home to be used as a hospital for children under the age of 5. The overall goal of Kondanani is to be a place of hope and life that cultivates a sense of belonging and security for each child; giving them the opportunity for a fresh start and the hope of a better future.

New Hope Schools
New Hope’s mission is to proclaim a new life of hope to Pakistani people through the Gospel of Jesus Christ – hope beyond their circumstances, beyond their past, beyond their present condition, and beyond their sin and selfishness. New Hope Schools provide basic education to the underprivileged children of Christian families, giving them the opportunity to move out of the bondage and slavery of being in the lowest caste in Pakistan.

One Hope
OneHope began in 1987 when the nation of El Salvador asked for the Scriptures for every schoolchild in the nation. Today, by God’s grace, they have touched more than a billion young lives with God’s Word through their innovative Scripture tools in mediums including print, film, apps, virtual worlds, and more. Jesus Christ is the one and only hope for eternity and OneHope’s desire is to present the Living Word of God in an engaging way to children and youth around the world. Their goal is to reach every young person, in every nation, with a relevant Gospel message by the year 2030.

Uganda Counseling and Support Services
Uganda Counseling and Support Services (UCSS)’s mission is to improve the quality of life and spread God’s love to people in remote communities of Uganda by providing social services, counseling and spiritual development. UCSS uses a holistic approach that addresses clean water, medical care, education, economic training and development, and teaching life skills through counseling and spiritual development. The goal is to help each community become self-sufficient to the point where outside resources are no longer necessary. People will enjoy a higher quality of life and over time will become more tolerant and caring. The vision is to replicate this model from one community to another using a “train the trainer” approach so that over time all of Uganda is transformed.
