Women’s Ministry

God’s desire for us as women is to know Him and share His love with others. Our desire at Cornerstone Chapel is to provide opportunities for this to take place.

Women’s Tuesday Bible Study: Morning and Evening

Our theme this year will be 1 Timothy 4:13, “Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of scripture…” As we come together as sisters in Christ, we will worship, then read corporately from Galatians to James as we make our way through the Bible, allowing the Holy Spirit to minister to our hearts in whatever circumstance and season of life we’re in. After we read the Word, we will break into small groups for discussion and prayer.

Women’s Movie Night Under the Stars
Friday, September 6
7:00 p.m. at The Park
Free Evening Event

Come join us for a fun night together to watch a movie outside under the stars! Popcorn and chocolate will be provided to snack on. We will be watching the powerful movie, Breakthrough. This is a free event but please register to let us know you are coming so we can plan enough snacks! Childcare is not provided.

Breakthrough is based on the inspirational true story of one mother’s unfaltering love in the face of impossible odds. When Joyce Smith’s adopted son John falls through an icy Missouri lake, all hope seems lost. But as John lies lifeless, Joyce refuses to give up. Her steadfast belief inspires those around her to continue to pray for John’s recovery, even in the face of every case history and scientific prediction. Breakthrough is an enthralling reminder that faith and love can create a mountain of hope, and sometimes even a miracle.

Close to 1 out of 3 women in the United States have experienced an abortion. Many struggle for years with repressed memories, guilt, shame and depression. If you feel you have never completely healed or recovered from an abortion experience, or that a past abortion may be affecting your current quality of life, know that God yearns to give you hope, healing and peace. Surrendering The Secret is an eight-week, biblically-based study led by women who have been where you are. Our hope and prayer is to provide a compassionate and confidential environment that will bring healing and restoration through God’s Word.

If you have had an abortion in your past and would like to attend one of the next studies, have questions, or are in need of prayer, please email Cynthia at cynthia37h@gmail.com. This group meets at an off-site location. Your privacy will be closely guarded. Deadline to sign up with Cynthia for one of the fall studies is Thursday, September 5.
