Andy Wagner

Andy Wagner

Andy has been on staff with Cornerstone Chapel since the spring of 1999. He serves as an advisor to Pastor Gary and gives support and leadership to ministries and staff. Andy is responsible for assessing personnel needs, ministry development, and church impact and growth issues relating to church facility expansion. He is the representative for the Making Him Known building project as the liaison between the church and the architect, engineers, and builder.

Andy is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Virginia. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology from Indiana Wesleyan University (where he met his wife, Darla) and his Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Andy became a Christian at age five and grew up in Loudoun County going to church with his family. He also grew up on the baseball and football fields and still tries to play whenever he can.

At the age of seventeen, at a youth camp, he knew that God was calling him to serve Him in full-time Christian ministry. As a pastor and counselor, Andy has the opportunity to pray with, encourage, teach, and support those seeking to know God in the midst of their circumstances. However, his highest calling is as a husband and father of two. Andy and Darla have been married since 1994 and have been blessed with a daughter, Kendra (1998), and a son, Logan (2003).
