Ken Wright

Ken joined the staff at Cornerstone Chapel in October 2016, as the Children’s Ministry and Family Pastor. Prior to being called into Ministry, Ken worked for Loudoun County Public Schools for 23 years. He started his career in LCPS as a teacher/coach before serving as Athletic Director at LCHS for 11 ½ years, and finally as Supervisor of Athletics for LCPS. Ken holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Virginia Tech and a Master’s in Education from George Mason University.

Ken first attended Cornerstone Chapel in the fall of 2009, and he gave his life to Christ in February 2010. Ken, and his wife Kim, began feeling his calling into ministry and they answered after much prayerful consideration. They are both very excited about the path that the Lord has them on. Ken’s favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 19:21: “Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s will that prevails,” and he considers it a testimony to his own life.

Ken and Kim were married on December 31, 1993 and have been blessed with 2 daughters: Kelly (1995) and Abby (1998). Ken enjoys “anything” sports related, especially watching and rooting for his beloved VT Hokies and Washington Redskins.
