WHAT ABOUT CHILDREN'S MINISTRY?

Children’s Ministry is available for infants through fifth-graders during all services except for the 10:00 a.m. service on Sundays.

WHAT ABOUT YOUTH MINISTRY?

Currently, our Youth Ministries are not meeting during Sunday services. However, Middle School currently meets on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. in Auditorium 900, and High School meets on Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. in Chapel.

WHAT ABOUT YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY?

Our Young Adults ministry (ages 18-29) meets every Monday night in the Sanctuary at 7:30 p.m. for worship, teaching, and fellowship.

ARE YOU LIMITING THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE IN THE SANCTUARY?

Attendance in our Sanctuary is limited in order to maintain social distancing. When the Sanctuary reaches capacity, ushers will direct people to video venues throughout the building.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED IN THE SANCTUARY?

Yes, but we highly recommend families with infants through fifth-graders to make use of our Children’s Ministry when available on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. and Sundays at 8:30 and 11:45 a.m. The Children’s Ministry is currently unavailable during the 10:00 a.m. service on Sundays.

WHAT OTHER IN-PERSON VENUES ARE AVAILABLE TO VIEW THE SERVICE?

The Chapel and Café are currently available as video venues where the service can be watched live.

DO I NEED TO SOCIAL DISTANCE?

As we gather together, let’s be patient and honor an appropriately healthy distance between family groups in order to minimize the potential spread of any viruses. For the time being, please refrain from physical contact with those outside your family unit or household (i.e. hugging, handshaking, etc.).

DO I NEED TO WEAR A MASK?

Due to the current restrictions for the state of Virginia, masks are required. However, they may be removed for “religious rituals” (like singing during worship). We ask that everyone bring their own mask.

WHAT SAFETY MEASURES IS THE CHURCH TAKING?

Your safety is of utmost importance. Sanitization stations have been placed throughout the campus with Purell dispensers. We have a certified cleaning company sanitizing the campus between each service. We are requesting social distancing in our building following the guideline of six feet. The elderly and those with compromised immune systems are encouraged to stay home and watch online. We also ask you to stay home if you or your children have any signs of illness. There will be no handshaking, communion, or collecting offerings through the passing of offering bags for now. Giving is encouraged at offering boxes stationed throughout the building, by mail, or through continued online giving.

CAN I STILL WATCH THE SERVICE ONLINE?

Yes. If you feel more comfortable staying home during this time, we offer an excellent online experience. All Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services are streamed live from our website (cornerstonechapel.net), mobile app, YouTube channel, and Facebook page.
