July 26 - July 30$200
Worship Camp is a week-long event for those in grades 6–12 who want to improve their vocal, instrumental, or audio/visual tech skills as they apply to worship in a church setting. The students will learn under the direction of the Cornerstone Chapel’s Worship Team with an optional, after-hours class available featuring Q&A with guest artists Shane and Shane!
Camp will take place daily from 9:00 a.m.—2:30 p.m., and all students will take part in a special Night of Worship on Friday, July 30 at 7:00 p.m. in our Sanctuary!
During registration, each student will select one of three “Tracks” to take part in:
Worship Band Track (Audition Required)
For students that show basic proficiency in one of the instruments included in the Worship Band Track: keys, bass, electric or acoustic guitar, or drums. Drums and keyboards will be provided, but other instruments must be brought by the student. If you play an instrument and also sing, there may be an opportunity to lead a song. If you are not accepted to the worship track, you will have the option to be in the vocal track. Space is limited and based on musical ability.
Vocal Track (Open to all)
For students interested in vocal training. These students will be trained in a choir setting for most of the week. Opportunities for leading songs with a worship band are limited and will be presented during the week based on vocal ability. Students will also perform as a choir for the Night of Worship.
Tech Track (Limited Capacity)
For students interested in the areas of sound, lights, and media. The Cornerstone Tech and Audio/Visual team will train students on enhancing their skills in a worship setting. Students will implement this training during the week and at the Night of Worship. Space is limited. If we are unable to offer a student a spot after receiving the application, a notification and full refund will be issued.
