After Satan deceives Eve and then she, along with Adam, disobey God and eat the forbidden fruit, God pronounces consequences upon them. He starts first with Satan, then He addresses Eve, and finally Adam. But in the midst of the punishment God pronounces upon them, He announces a plan of redemption for humanity too. Jesus Christ is revealed in Genesis 3:15 as the plan of God to “reverse the curse”.
