Out of the twelve spies who were sent to spy out the Promised Land, only two (Joshua and Caleb) returned with good news. The other ten “spread a bad report” among the Israelites. Unfortunately, the Israelites believed the bad report and it would cost them their lives. They would never enter in to God’s generous land-a land “flowing with milk and honey”-because of their unbelief. Only their children, and Joshua and Caleb would enter. God said that Caleb had a “different spirit”. Find out in today’s study what that meant and how we can have courage like Caleb.
