Isaiah describes the people of Judah in his day (740B.C.) as disobedient, ignorant, and defiant towards God and His Laws. As a result, the nation of Judah was guilty of various sins and in danger of destruction by the Assyrian army. Ironically, the way Isaiah describes his generation is not too dissimilar to our own. And yet the same hope and remedy for the people of Judah is available to us as well.
