In today’s teaching from Genesis 16, Pastor Gary takes a look at the story of Abraham, Sarah, and Sarah’s maidservant, Hagar. Even though God had promised Abraham that his descendants would be numerous, he and Sarah agreed to a fleshly act to “hasten” God’s promise-that Abraham should father a child with Hagar. But the conflict, mistreatment, blaming, and fighting that ensues serve to illustrate how bad things get when we don’t wait for God’s plan. God is faithful, but we must WAIT on Him!
