When Moses killed an Egyptian, he thought he was doing God and his fellow Hebrews a favor. He understood God’s call upon his life, but he miscalculated the timing of that calling. God would take another 40 years to prepare him to be the Deliverer/Prophet to lead the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt to the Promised Land of Israel. Often times, Christians make a similar mistake of wanting to discern the WHAT of God’s will, but not the WHEN of God’s will.
