In Numbers 16 the Israelites continue to complain-and now it is against God’s appointed leaders, Moses and Aaron. Korah leads a rebellion, along with 250 community leaders, all of whom will die by the end of the story. It is a harsh but important reminder to us about the evil of a rebellious spirit against authority. Unless the authority we are under is immoral, unethical, or illegal in nature, we must submit ourselves and learn what God is teaching us in the process.
