In part 2 about the life of Samson, Pastor Gary teaches on the price that Samson paid for his compromise. It all culminated in his relationship with Delilah who turned him over to the Philistines for a sum of money. One of the saddest verses in all of the Bible describes Samson in Judges 16:20 – “But he did not know that the Lord had left him.” Though Samson was a man who demonstrated some faithful deeds (and that’s why he’s listed in the ‘Hall of Faith’ in Hebrews 11), he was not a very faithful person. He was physically strong, but morally weak. We can learn a lot from his troubled life.
