After the death of Solomon, there was civil war within Israel and the nation became divided. It was known by two names-the northern kingdom retained the name “Israel”, and the southern kingdom was called “Judah”. Each kingdom installed its own king as well. But not only was the kingdom divided, so were the hearts of the people. It was a terrible time of idolatry when the people wavered between the worship of idols and the worship of God. The prophet Elijah confronts this indecision on Mt. Carmel. Join Pastor Gary for this teaching which was recorded on location in Israel with the tour group from Cornerstone Chapel.
