2 Kings Old Testament

In 2 Kings 7, four lepers end up inheriting an incredible treasure of food and valuables left behind by the Syrian army. What we learn is that God had done a miracle in making the Syrians vacate their camp, leaving everything behind. At first, the lepers hoarded it all for themselves but soon realized that it would not be right to keep for themselves the incredible blessing and provision from God. They needed to share it with those who were dying. The lepers, like us, have been given something amazing from God. We cannot keep the good news to ourselves. We must share it with others so that they too can partake with us of God’s amazing grace!
