Out of all the 38 kings and 1 queen of Judah and Israel during the Divided Kingdom, only eight were considered “good”. But out of those eight, only ONE was good from beginning to end. The other “good” kings had done something to tarnish their life before they died. But not Jotham. This 10th king of Judah stands out among all the other kings of the north or south because he stayed faithful to God all the days of his life.
