There is an epidemic of missing fathers in our country. Statistics show that 33% of children in America-roughly 24.7 million children-are living in homes without a father. That number has tripled since 1960. The stats are worse for the African American community where 57.6% of black children are being raised by single mothers. Where are all the fathers? Where are the dads who will be the men God called them to be? In today’s Fathers’ Day message, Pastor Gary looks at six examples of fathers from Scripture (though most are poor examples) so we can learn from the good and the bad what it means to be “Good Dads”. There is hope for every father, and there is hope for every child without a father.
