Time is divided into 2 aspects—temporal and eternal. There are some things that will expire and come to an end (temporal), and some things that have no ending (eternal). What separates the temporal from the eternal—as far as it concerns us—is a matter of life and death. Solomon talks about all these things in chapter 3—life, death, judgment, and eternity.
