The Bible predicts that a political, charismatic world leader will come onto the world scene known in Scripture as “The Antichrist” (1 John), or “The Beast” (Rev), or “The Man of Sin” (2 Thess. 2). He will unite the world under his influential leadership with a temporary peace plan, only to break it and demand that everyone worship him as God. But the Lord Jesus will return and overthrow him by the splendor of His coming and throw the Antichrist into the Lake of Fire along with the False Prophet.
